Countless Lives Saved
Donate. Volunteer. Tell a Friend.
The next University-Wide Blood Drive will take place in the Athletics Complex on the Danforth Campus and the Olin Gym on the School of Medicine Campus. Sign up today to donate blood or volunteer on Wednesday, November 14, from 9:00am – 9:00pm. You are still eligible to donate if you have donated at previous WashU drives this year, and your donation has the potential to save 3 lives. If you were previously deferred from donation, please visit the FDA’s website to review eligibility guidelines. If you were deferred during the pre-screening process, note that iron level, blood pressure, and other metrics can change from drive to drive.
The life you save could be a friend, a neighbor, a parent, a sibling, or even your own. All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to participate. Regardless of eligibility, everyone can support the blood drive by recruiting a friend or posting on social media! Stop by to learn about wellness education, blood donation, and inclusion initiatives like Ally Donation.
Appointments are strongly encouraged, and they’ll help you get in and out sooner. Schedule your donation, volunteer, or learn more [www.blooddrive.wustl.edu]here. Please note that you will begin the sign up process on the Gephardt Institute’s website, and then be redirected to either the American Red Cross or Mississippi Valley website to finalize your appointment.
Walk in and donate to either blood bank.
