Recent political and social events such as the pandemic, Black Lives Matter movement, and the recent presidential election have left instructors wondering how to integrate social change into the fabric of their course but without knowing where to start. In this virtual conversation, you will be introduced to a teaching “schema,” a dynamic, non-linear resource designed to aid you in integrating current events into your course in order to teach for positive social impact.
Registration for these conversations is open to anyone currently teaching or who is currently an assistant in instruction in a for-credit course at WashU. Prior registration is required, and participant limits are set at 20 to ensure that all will have the chance to discuss their ideas and concerns.
