STL Literary Festival: Lit in the Lou

Get ready for the third annual STL literary festival: LIT IN THE LOU 2016!! We are so excited about this year’s lineup of activities taking place over the course of the weekend Oct. 21-22nd. Between all of the different events–from the Kids’ Book Fest to the Literary Pub Crawl–there will be something for everyone!

On Friday Oct. 21st, we are having a catered event on the 5th floor of the University City Hall building where the Tradition of Literary Excellence award will be conferred (tickets on sale through our website).

Then, during the day on Saturday the 22nd, there will be a FREE children’s and YA book festival at Jackson Park Elementary School. Keynote speakers are Marc Brown @ 10am (author/illustrator of the PBS Arthur series) and Jacqueline Woodson @ 1:30pm (author of NYT Bestseller Brown Girl Dreaming).

Saturday night on Oct. 22nd, there will be a ticketed Literary Pub Crawl down the Delmar Loop featuring readings from local authors (tickets on sale through our website)!
