Performing Morrison: A Convening at Washington University in St. Louis

Join major scholars and theatre practitioners of Toni Morrison’s work for a conversation about the impact of Morrison’s 1970 debut novel The Bluest Eye on American literature, black feminist genealogies, and black (American) expressive culture writ large. This will be followed by a reading of scenes from “Dreaming Emmett” and an artist Talk.  This event is Free and Open to the public, however  an RSVP is required at performingmorrison@gmail.com.
