March 2nd 2018 | 6:00pm-8:00pm
Emerson Auditorium, Knight Hall
Please join City Faces at Wash U in welcoming State Representative Bruce Franks Jr., of Missouri’s 78th District, for an evening of thoughtful discussion on race relations in America. Rep. Franks will lead a discussion on race relations, his experiences as a Black Lives Matter activist, and the path that led to his election as a State Representative. This event is founded on the belief that we as a country and community cannot begin to heal and progress until we start having the tough conversations about race, inequality, perspectives, and accountability.
This two-hour event will culminate with a reception and time for questions.
This event is free and open to the public.
