Join us for an open figure drawing session featuring live models and figurative sculptures from the Kemper Art Museum permanent collection on display specifically for this event. Attendees will create a figure drawing, with feedback provided by Jamie Adams, associate professor, and Tim Lane, lecturer, both in the Sam Fox School.

The Kemper Art Museum will provide the following materials:

drawing paper
pencils—hardness 2B, 4B, and HB
pencil sharpeners
vinyl and kneaded erasers
drawing boards

We recommend that you bring a sketchbook and any dry materials that you would like to use during the session. No pens, pastels, markers, vine charcoal, or easels are allowed.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Ages 16 and up.

Register by contacting Rochelle Caruthers, university academic programs coordinator, at rochelle.caruthers@wustl.edu or 314.935.9433. Please indicate your session preference.
