Nominations Now Open for James E. McLeod Award

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for the 2020 James E. McLeod Honors and Awards Program. The aim of the award program is to acknowledge those students who demonstrate a commitment to:

* individual pursuits promoting expression of Black culture, history, and values.
* academic excellence and advancement of scholarship.
* cultivating community through service to improve quality of life for Black people at WashU, in St Louis, and globally.

You can submit nominations to the James E. McLeod Honors and Awards Program at: Nominations close at 5pm on Friday, March 16, 2020.

We would greatly appreciate it if you spread the word about these awards to faculty, staff, and students in your departments. We also hope that you can join us in celebrating the achievements of these outstanding students. The James E. McLeod Honors and Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020, from 3-5pm in May Auditorium in Simon Hall.
