Free Your Mind: Afrocentric Theatre Masterclass

The Department of African and African American Studies is hosting the “Free Your Mind: Afrocentric Theatre Masterclass” taught by Carton Molette.

Carlton Molette, 79, is known for establishing Afrocentric Theatre with his late wife Barbara. His sixty-year career includes theatre credits as playwright, Director, designer, technical director and stage manager and academic appointments as Professor, Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Some of his career achievements include awards from the Black Theatre Network, the National Black Theatre Festival, and the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival.
