The Association of Latin American Students presents DACA Week:

DACA Week was created to inform the WashU community and raise awareness of those who are directly and indirectly affected by the decision of the Trump Administration to rescind DACA. We have planned our DACA Week to be from September 18th through September 22nd in which we will have panelists and speakers to inform the public about DACA, activities to facilitate community activism and involvement, and opportunities to learn more about DACA. We hope to make this a long-term project of awareness and action until Congress takes action.

Whiteboard Campaign
Check out our table outside the DUC from 11am-1pm, where we will be inviting everyone to participate in our whiteboard campaign. We’ll provide the platform for you to share why you support immigrants/what being an immigrant means to you. ALAS will also highlight some stories of the 800,000 DREAMers that have been affected by Trump’s decision regarding DACA through articles, photos, and video testimonies.
