The Association of Latin American Students presents DACA Week:

DACA Week was created to inform the WashU community and raise awareness of those who are directly and indirectly affected by the decision of the Trump Administration to rescind DACA. We have planned our DACA Week to be from September 18th through September 22nd in which we will have panelists and speakers to inform the public about DACA, activities to facilitate community activism and involvement, and opportunities to learn more about DACA. We hope to make this a long-term project of awareness and action until Congress takes action.

Crafting Conversation
Join us at the ALAS Suite on the third floor of the Women’s Building from 6pm-8pm. ALAS will be providing an informal space for any members of communities on campus to share any thoughts, concerns, ideas moving forward to support the undocumented community, as well as answering the question “Where do we go from here?” We will also have a space to work on visual representations/crafts of what these changes have brought upon us and the community.
