Black History Month: Policymaking through a Racial Equity Lens

  • Wednesday, February 23, 2022 • 12:30 pm

Structural racism in laws and legislation have created gross inequities throughout every system of our society, ultimately encumbering our nation’s potential for greatness. Addressing these disparities requires that we analyze how current policies perpetuate racialized outcomes, and redesign policies to advance equity. Only then can we unlock the power and the promise of policy making as a tool of justice. This Brown School Curriculum Showcase event is part of our recognition of Black History Month.
