Christine van den Wyngaert a judge on the International Criminal Court comes to Washington University to discuss World Peace through the roles of International Courts and Tribunals.

Christine van den Wyngaert has served since 2009 as a judge on the International Criminal Court. She is published widely in the fields of international and comparative criminal law. She was also an ad hoc Judge at the International Court of Justice in the Yerodia case between 2000 and 2002. The next year, Judge Christine van den Wyngaert was sworn in as an Ad Litem Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
