October 5th, 5-6pm
Center for Diversity & Inclusion
Suite 330 – DUC

From violent confrontations in Charlottesville to the recent appearance of hate-group recruitment posters on this and other campuses, organized white supremacy groups are once again moving into American public life. How do we respond? Professor David Cunningham (Sociology), author of Klansville, U.S.A.: The Rise and Fall of the Civil Rights-Era KKK, will offer insight into this political movement. After a short research talk, we will workshop response strategies.

Washington University students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in this community discussion.

To help us plan for refreshments, kindly RSVP to by October 3rd.

This event is sponsored by the Center for Diversity & inclusion and The Teaching Center.
