A day of REFLECTIONS on climate change

The Washington University Alumni Association and the International Center for Energy, Environment & Sustainability invites alumni, parents, and friends to A day of REFLECTIONS on climate change because addressing the impacts of climate change requires partnerships between policy, advocacy, and industry.

In this afternoon workshop, join Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton and key leaders in these fields as they reflect on how climate change impacts communities and discuss solutions both locally and globally.

In addition, Washington University students will offer personal reflections from their recent experience attending the global negotiations on climate.

Invited Speakers include:

Christina Figueres, a Founding Partner of Global Optimism and Convernor, Mission 2020. She is also the former Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Michael Brune, the Executive Director of the Sierra Club

Jeff Seale, the Agricultural Environmental Strategy Lead and Associate Science Fellow at Bayer Crop Science.
